Vessel performance specialists, GreenSteam are looking for a Student Assistant to join the Installation and Hardware Team. The team is responsible for developing a new scalable hardware platform to serve our software services with high-quality data. The Installation and Hardware team is also responsible for documentation, support, and installations of existing and new systems. GreenSteam is a significant player in the market of vessel performance optimization, offering services to improve ship performance and reduce fuel consumption by optimizing trim, speed, and analyzing hull fouling. The core technology behind the services is machine learning, which is utilized to evaluate and predict vessel performance and fuel consumption. The position offers a unique opportunity to help developing Hardware and Software solutions to fetch and unify data on vessels worldwide by using the most advanced tools available. You can work between 5 and 15 hours per week with a flexible schedule to match your study requirements.
